Today is our second blogaversary!

Hello to all our furry and not-so-furry friends! It's me, Patches! Our personal secretary (aka Mom) just realized that it was two years ago today that we started our bloggy! Obviously, we don't do a whole lot of posting since this is only our 183rd post. We try, but our mom is just way too busy to post every time we bark stuffs to her!
Since Poppy got her ant-eye-bye-ot-icks, she hasn't picked any fights with me or Penny. Of course, our mom is watching her very closely and if she gets that "look" in her eye, she separates us really quick! We think the "look" just means she wants to play, but Mom isn't taking any chances.

This picture is from back when I had my aeordynamic fur-cut. I'm not quite that aerodynamic now, but I'm still pretty quick! My hairs haven't grown all the way out yet, so I'm not spending much time outside today. It's only 23 degrees F this morning and our mom has to go to the grocer store. Heeheehee! Better HER than US! It's a good thing she's got that remote start thingy on our Aire-mobile. At least she can warm it up before she has to go out and freeze her tushie on those leather seats that the car dealer told her wouldn't be too hot or too cold. He LIED big time!
For those of you who have asked, our dad is stable right now. He is declining, but at least it is slowly. We see a change in him about every six or seven days. When he gets out of breath, it takes him longer to recover than it used to. He is still trying to help our mom with stuffs like setting the table and letting us doggies in and out. The nurse told him to quit that, but he just can't get that through his head. He's stubborn...just like us doggies! Speaking of us doggies, we let our peeps sleep until 6:20 this morning. They can't figure out why we did that and Mom checked the house for poopies and piddles, but she didn't find any! Of course not, Mom, WE know that we only do that outside!
Well, everybuddy, our mom has to quit typing now because she has to go freeze her tushie off. When she comes home, she's going to turn into a plumber again and replace the flapper in one of our toilets. Good luck with that, Mom!
Happy New Year, everybuddy!
Aire-hugs,
Patches (and Poppy and Penny too)

We called by to wish you Happy New Year, really hoping good things for you all.

We were thinking about your Dad, and wondering how he was getting along, please give him a Marvin Hug and Kiss, from us.

Happy New Year from very snowy and cold Scotland - our thoughts are with you, even though we don't blog as much as we would like to.

love from Marvin and Jeannie xxxxxx

Whoooo, it is that cold here too, and you should have seen Teka trotting faster and faster on walkies this morning.

Something is strange. Teka let the hoomans sleep past 6:00 am this morning too. In fact, it was 6:22 when muzzer opened her eye and checked the clock! Was there something in the atmosphere? If so, our hoomans want to bottle it.

Happy Blogaversary, Aire-girls! We're so happy to have been met you here!

Also happy to hear that Poppy seems to be feeling better. Just because the song says "rest ye merry gentlemen" doesn't mean ladies aren't included! :)

Hope your 2010's starting great--and continues to be so!

I sometimes get a "look" on my face and momma tells me to "snap out of it" because it means I am going to get grouchy with PeeWee if he gets too close. Of course PeeWee growled at ME when I tried to sniff his bottom when he was in bed and he didn't get any words for that. So unfair.

Thanks for the dad update. I think that if he can do stuff for you and mom that it will make him feel better inside even if his nurse says not to.

I hope your mom doesn't develop plumber's crack. If she does, just stick your cold snooter there. Sure to cure her of it.

Slobbers,
Mango

We know all about that cold here too. We finally got Mom to come out side with us for a bit to see how much fun we have in the snow. Thanks for the update on your Dad, it is good to know that he is doing OK. Maybe it makes him feel good to do some little thing to help Mom. Tell your Mom that we have a few toilet flappers that could use some fixing here too.

Happy belated Blogersary, P P and P. We're hoping you got to somehow celebrate what is OUR blessing ... knowing you through blogland. We're glad to read that maybe the antiobiotics may be helping infection, pain and aggression (self-defense .. we get it!) and that everyone, including your dad are doing relatively okay. We think about you a lot.

Stay warm. Try to, anyway. From what we hear it's only a couple more days of cold temps.

Love and wirey hugs to everyone

Hey P gurrrls,

I'm glad to hear that you guys have been gooooooood to your mom and dad. You really have a SuperMOM who can take care of everyone/pup, watch a hawk, and fix a toilet!!!

Your dad definitely sounds like an Airedale. Please tell him to rest more and not be sooooo stoic and stubborn (tho being an Aire-hooman, I doubt he'd listen...).

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade
