Hello to all our furry and not-so furry friends! We were having a great day, today, until it started to rain. Mom was trimming the ivy out by the lattice wall that hides the trash barrel and we were snoopervising. We barked everytime someone walked down the street to let Mom know she might be in danger! You never know what kind of crazies might be walking around. We thought she'd want to know!
Remember all the mud we had on our deck a few days ago? Well, most of it is gone now. Yep, our mom couldn't take it any longer so she cleaned it up. Since the deck is on the back of the house, she figured she could wash it without being caught by the water police! We are on very tight water restrictions, here in Georgia, and Mom doesn't want to have to pay a huge fine or go to jail! We aren't allowed to wash cars, water grass or wash houses or driveways. Mom gets very upset because it's okay if she hires someone else to wash the house or the driveway, but she can't do it herself. Somehow that seems unfair since whoever she hires will be using OUR water! What the heck difference does it make whether we use our OWN water or if someone else does. Mom thinks she has that problem solved...she works for a painting contractor, so the next time she wants to wash the driveway, she is going to put one of his signs in the front yard so the water police will leave her alone!
See my buddy, Tiger? Well, for some reason that I can't explain, he keeps trying to go outside! In the last couple of days, Mom and Dad have found him just inside the back door several times! He keeps inching closer to the door, but hasn't quite made it to the back yard, yet! I think he just wants some fresh air! Maybe he needs to pottie! Or maybe, he's trying to escape from me humping him so often! Mom brought him back into the living room and took his picture to show me where he really belongs. I get the picture, Mom, but Tiger keeps telling me to take him outside! At least, once he finally makes it out there, if he gets dirty, it will blend right in with most of his coloring! He's just about the same color as our red Georgia clay!
Well, everybody, now that it's raining outside, we are going to go have a nap until it's time for us to eat.
Aire-hugs,
Poppy & Penny

Penny & Poppy,
Thanks for stopping by to introduce yourselves. I think we can all be good friends! My humans make a trip to St. Simons, Georgia, every year for their vacation. They just don't take me. That is ok because they have a really cool friend of theirs come stay with us at the house and she is all about playing and treats!
barking out for now,
Willow the black dale
WOW, cool tiger!
Water restriction? So no pool parties I guess huh? I really hope it rains soon for you!

Hiya gals,
We have water restrictions here too. We installed an 8,000 litre water tank but we have to put a pump on it. Then we'll be able to wash the car to our hearts content.
Hugs and tail wags

Hi, friends!
Here we don't have water restrictions but we don't have too much water either!
Tiger looks very handsome there. I don't think he wants to run away. Like you said maybe he just wants to go out to do his business!
Kisses and hugs

We think your mom is pretty smart to use that sign to outfox the water police! It's not fair that someone else gets to use YOUR water and not get in trouble!
What a cute black lab wheelie that your mom made! We love that she lists her auctions on your sidebar! Your mom is sure talented!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

Dear fellow blogger,
My name is Bryony and I am an artist, based in Manchster, England. I graduated from a BA in Fine Art almost a year ago now, and am currently making a go of things as a (part-time!) artist, having just rented a studio here in Manchester.
My work is heavily influenced by man’s relationship with animals.
Recently I have become fascinated by the number of blogs online dedicated to pet dogs.
I have an idea in mind for a show, which would happen in early May this year, and I would like you to be a part of it!
What I plan to do with this art work is to demonstrate the depth and rich complexity of our love of animals, man’s best friend in particular. The work would involve the use of a piece of text from your blog (with your permission, of course).
I think this will be a lovely project – it will be fun, and will unite dog-lovers around the globe!
If you would be willing to take part, or for more information, please contact me through the email address above. Feel free to have a look at my previous art work on my blog.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, it is much appreciated and I hope to hear from you soon.
Best Wishes,
Bryony
Hey Poppy and Penny,
We used www.picnic.com to help us write on the picture! When it comes to fancy computer stuff, our mom is left out in the cold but this is free and it's easy to use! Hope this helps!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Me thinks Mr Tiger would love to roam in the garden, me hopes he makes it.

Ohh...is that tiger friendly??? He looks as big as Lacie!!!
So you are still water restricted? We thought that the rain this winter pretty much got rid of your drought...less Dale baths??? WOOT!
We've had enough rain here for most of the East coast...we'll send it down....
Terrier barks,
Lacie
Oh, my, you've humped a tiger! I'll bet your humans are really proud of you. If she has babies, I hope they have your face and her stripes. Cooper
It rained here too all weekend. I hated it. I was so bored. If I had a tiger like that, I would probably hump it too. Maybe the tiger just wants to go catch birds or something.
