Bitey-face and pinestraw.

Hello to all our furry and not-so-furry friends! See that pile of pinestraw at the back of our woods? Well it is 6 feet high and about 150 feet long and that's what Pockets jumped over on the way to his great escape! We haven't had anymore escapes, but he is driving Penny and me crazy. He chases Penny and bites her tail and he is constantly biting my face and legs. I am limping and Penny is just plain worn out! Yesterday, he grabbed a grapefruit off the counter and played with it like a ball. Mom was afraid he was going to puncture it and put juice EVERYWHERE! Fortunately, he turned it into juice, but he never broke through the skin! We, now have mouse traps on the window seat, in the kitchen to keep him out of the window where the plants are. He tripped one of the traps and hasn't been near the window again. We think we should mouse trap the whole house! Maybe Mom could glue one to the top of my head and Penny's tail. He wants to play bitey-face with me constantly and I only want to play when I feel like it! I keep growling at him, barking and showing him my large teefies, but he comes right back at me. Mom has been putting him in "time out" a LOT!
Yesterday, the wild boy decided that he is no longer going to mind Mom. He won't come when she calls him and runs from her instead. Today, he is wearing a rope around the house so Mom can step on it when he won't come. He is going in for a much needed bath, this morning, and while he is gone, Penny and I will be taking BIG, BIG nap! There is a man coming, this afternoon to get measurements and see what kind of materials he needs to put up a fence in front of that pile of pinestraw. Thank Dogness! Once the fence is in, Pockets can run like a mad fool and burn off some of that energy! Then, maybe he will leave Penny and me alone for awhile.
Stay tuned for more great adventures!
Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny and Pockets (the wild child!)

Ladies! You must muster your innate talents to bring Pockets down to his appropriate place. I know you gals, and you can be very bossy when the need arises.

Hope you all can work things out. Sounds like the dude might have come from a broken home.

Oh Penny and Poppy...I feel ur pain...Babystan is like that too...one constant game of bitey face, bitey tail bitey anything. I have to hide under the coffee table to keep him away from me when I get tired. It took about 6 weeks for Babystan to settle in here...it might have been that long as Big Bruvver was takin him back and forth to Penn State to give Mumsie a break. But Mumsie figured out she couldn't teach Babystan HOUSERULES if he wasn't here so his college time has been severely limited lately. She shakes a penny can at him and the big lughead is terrierfied of it...she cured him from jumpin' that way....it did take some time for us to establish the whole pack order thing...hang in there girls...it will get easier....

Mumsie has a package for you guys and if it EVER stops snowin' she'll get it in the mail with a check for the wheeled felties...it's been ice stormin' and blizzarding...Yeesh...we want spring!

And look at the bright side...you won't have ANY mice in ur house!!

Wow Pockets sure is giving you all a hard time. B always threatens us with mouse traps but they haven't come out yet lol. Hopefully the fence will go up soon so you can have some peace and quiet.

Welcome to the world of baby siblings, girlies! I'm not surprised he wants to play with you all the time, though. You ARE pretty cool chicas!

Take all the chances you can to get extra sleep. You've already found out that you need it.

Sometimes I find if I go grab a toy I know Stella likes and tug with her for a little (just enough to make it convincing), then let her have it, she runs off like she's had some great big victory and leaves me alone for awhile.

Try it.

Goober love & sympathy smooches,
Stanley
